Product Information

  • Frigo® Whole Milk Ricotta Cheese is an excellent cooking cheese, due to its soft and creamy texture. We use the freshest whole milk to make this flexible cheese extra creamy. It's the best choice for making the richest, most delicious Italian dishes, appetizers and desserts. Ricotta cheese was originally produced to make full use of all the proteins in the milk that was used in the production of cheeses like Mozzarella. To strip the remaining proteins, the leftover whey was “re-cooked” (“ricotta” in Italian) resulting in a soft, creamy texture that is slightly grainy.

    • Package includes 32 oz of Frigo® Whole Milk Ricotta Cheese
    • Excellent cooking cheese from appetizers to desserts
    • Perfect for lasagnas, raviolis, and cannoli
    • Use it as a substitute for yogurt in a variety of recipes
    • Smooth it on toast with a little cracked pepper and drizzle of honey for an instant snack
  • Good Source of Protein, Kosher, Low Sodium, No Artificial Ingredients, Pescatarian, Vegetarian
