Cake Mix Cookies

Cake mix cookies are magical: with just a box of cake mix, eggs and some oil, you can whip up a batch of delicious, homemade cookies in no time. They’re equal parts convenient and cozy, and there are endless combinations to taste test. Give some of our favorites a try and see for yourself just how deceptively simple — and totally decadent — these sweet treats can be.

How-To:

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, 2 eggs and ½ cup vegetable oil. Stir any desired mix-ins into the dough.
2. Using a tablespoon, scoop dough onto a sheet pan and bake at 350°F for 8–12 minutes.

Combination Suggestions:

• Light and Lemony: Lemon cake mix + confectioners’ sugar (sprinkled over cooled cookies)
• Double Berry: Strawberry cake mix + freeze-dried strawberries + vanilla icing (drizzled over cooled cookies)
• Sweet and Salty: Yellow cake mix + chocolate chips + crushed potato chips
• Peanut Butter Cup: Chocolate cake mix + peanut butter chips + pretzel pieces
